April Kim Tonin

April Kim Tonin

April is an illustrator, educator and native New Yorker. She creates illustrations and editorial comics for media websites, private and corporate clients, school events, fundraisers and retail events. She is also on faculty at the Nightingale-Bamford School as the Director of Visual Education, a museum-based program. April has a B.A. in Fine Arts and French from Mount Holyoke College and a M.A. in Art History from Columbia University. In addition to being a member of CBIG, she is a member of the Academy for Teachers, the National Art Education Association, and SCBWI. April can often be found at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a small sketchbook.
