Doris Ettlinger has illustrated over 30 books for children. Her most recent is A Book for Black-eyed Susan, by Judy Young (Sleeping Bear Press). She enjoys illustrating historical subjects. Doris works in watercolor and colored pencil. Her first trade books were part of the Little House program for HarperCollins, producing picture books and chapter books based on the writings of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Other clients include American Girl, Albert Whitman & Co., McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin and Simon & Schuster. She is represented by Cornell & McCarthy of Westport, Connecticut.
