Marilyn Papas is an illustrator/designer who works in watercolors, gouache, and pen and ink. She illustrated Babysitter's Handbook, William Morrow and Co., Inc., NYC; A Pop-Up Musical Christmas, Banner Press, NYC; spot drawings for The New Professional Chef for the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, NY; and other cookbooks, including cover art for Van Nostrand Reinhold, NYC. Marilyn has been a stationery designer for Tiffany & Co. in NYC, and an art teacher at The Brookline Arts Center in Brookline, Mass. Her interests include ancient Egypt, which she has studied and traveled to; ancient history and costumes; food illustration; and writing for children. Marilyn is a member of CBIG and SCBWI.
