Over the years she has worked in greeting cards and as a freelance artist specializing in residential murals, portraits and caricatures. Since 2007 Penny has illustrated many books for children, including One of Us from Tilbury House Publishers, released in June 2010. A partial client list includes Tilbury House, Raven Tree Press, Pearson, Compass, Brown, and many independent publishers and magazines. Penny lives with her husband, three children, their cat and their guinea pig in Holbrook, NY. She is heavily lobbying for a puppy.
