Angelique Anderson is a multi-disciplined artist, with a background in digital publishing, virtual reality, 3D modeling, textures and fabric prints. She is Co-founder/Creative director of LIQUE Story Studio to develops creative content and children’s picture-book apps, utilizing Virtual-Reality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR).
Angelique is a team-member and mentor for the NYU sponsored VRLab at Metrotech Game Center and NYU-ITP.
Her project Orishas’ Garden won an award as Smithsonian-ComputerWorld Laureate and is part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute and archived at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Wash., D.C. She is listed in the Clara Registry of Women Artists.
She has devoted time to teach and mentor children and teens at HarlemLive.org and Harlem School of the Arts.
Angelique is a member of CBIG, KidLit.tv, and the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She is also an alumnus of Pat Cumming’s,’ Children’s Book Boot Camp. She is a graduate of School of Visual Arts, NYC and Pratt Institute.
