When I was little I could never decide what I wanted to do when I grew up. So it wasn’t surprising that in college I changed majors four times and jobs more times than I want to admit. While working with a reference book publisher I met Jean Mercier, Children’s Book Reviewer of Publishers’ Weekly who encouraged my interest in writing and illustrating children’s stories. My interest became my passion and the rest was hard work and perseverance.
Through my stories, which I illustrate in pen and ink and water color, I hope to provide support and confidence to little lives with amusement and good humor. As you can see on these pages, I love nature, animals and happy endings.
But if you can’t find me at my drawing board I could possibly be biking around Central Park, or maybe spoiling two precious felines.
